Events Our next mobile adoption event will be at Petsmart in Weatherford on June 21 (noon until 3:30). We'll now have our mobile adoption event at Petsmart the third Saturday of each month. This will help the public know well in advance when we will be there. We'll have a second adoption event each month if we have enough volunteers and advance notice. Please contact us if you'd like to volunteer. Parker
Paw Purchases Molly
Update Molly had medical problems that hindered her adoption from the shelter, and she has been fostered at one of our volunteers' home while she received the needed veterinary care. We're happy to report that she is now ready for adoption. She's always been energetic and loves playing fetch with you, but now she is also more comfortable indoors and has discovered the joys of being brushed and petted. Stay Busy in May We participated in Belk department store's Charity Day, raising over $200 for items needed at the shelter. We also had volunteers at the Aledo school carnival and the Weatherford High School annual Blue and White football game and raised more money while spreading the word about our group.  Just as our supporters don't always see the fruit of their donations, sometimes the volunteers miss the benefits they bring to the pets, too. Biskit, pictured above, was adopted by her new family shortly after being seen at an adoption event. The offsite events are great exposure for the pets, even if the results may be delayed.
