About Us
Parker Paws is a non-profit (501c3) volunteer group supporting the Weatherford/Parker County Animal Shelter. We do not have our own facility or take pets from the public. We're here for the shelter pets. Our goal is simple and humane: We work to improve the quality of life for the animals in the shelter and help more of them find homes. In an effort to reduce the number of unwanted pets taken to the shelter, we also provide low-cost spay/neuter clinics.
Thank you for helping us with your adoptions, donations, and sharing your passion for the pets.
Foster Program
Some shelter pets need extra care or time to find permanent homes and are being fosted by our volunteers. Here are some of our current foster pets. You'll find all of our foster pets posted online at Adoptapet.com along with the adoptable shelter pets.

Thank you for your support!

| Thank you!
Thank you for supporting us in our 4th year of service. So many people ask how they can help the shelter pets. Choose to adopt rather than buy your next new pet. Spay/neuter to prevent unwanted litters of pets. Donate and help us supplement the shelter in their care of the thousands of lost and unwanted pets brought to the Weatherford/Parker County Animal Shelter each year. Volunteer an afternoon to help us photograph the adoptable pets or take a dog for a walk. Share the adoptable pets with your family and friends. The adoptable pets are listed online here and we also have a colorful poster available for download on our home page. Everyone can do something to help the shelter pets. Thank you for choosing to help!
