Low-cost Spay/Neuter Programs
Reduce the number of homeless animals brought to the shelter each year by spaying/neutering your pets, and a stray, too. Most of the animals brought to the Weatherford/Parker County Animal Shelter are unwanted puppies and kittens.
In support of the national Spay Day USA 2010, Parker Paws is sponsoring a Five Dollar Fixit in February which will provide spay/neuter surgery for 25 cats for just $5 each. This special is being offered to low-income residents of Parker County. UPDATE: We have received 25 qualifying applications and cannot accept any more for this event. Thank you to all who helped spread the word and to the participants.

The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection provides low-cost spay/neuters at several locations, including monthly appointments at the Azle Animal Shelter. You may schedule an appointment by calling 866-310-PETS (7387).
