Parker Paws is an all-volunteer group. We are always in need of volunteers who share our passion for finding homes for the pets in need. We treat animals gently and with respect for they are living creatures who depend on us for their care. If you want

| Volunteering doesn't necessarily mean being at the shelter itself.
Many of our volunteers make a big difference for the animals by donating their time
and special skills to offsite adoption events and other activities that benefit the shelter. Offsite adoptions are scheduled throughout the year, usually on Saturdays, and can only be conducted with the help of volunteers. These are fun and rewarding events, you can make a difference in a dog or cat finding a new home. |

Other activities performed by our volunteers include
walking/socializing the dogs at the shelter, bathing and grooming the dogs, assisting
in the office, fostering special needs pets, and photographing the pets for Petfinder.
