I NEED TO SURRENDER MY DOG/CAT. CAN YOU HELP?

Parker Paws has closed our intake and transitioned from rescue to offering low/no cost spay/neuters for our community’s owned pets. We are focusing our efforts on the source of the problem and are doing our best to reduce it with our Spay Neuter Incentive Program, SNIP, offering it to those who otherwise cannot afford it.

I NEED TO GET MY PET SPAYED/NEUTERED. CAN YOU HELP?
Parker Paws offers low/no-cost spay and neuters to pet owners who cannot otherwise afford it for their pets, we are helping to end pet overpopulation and shelter overcrowding. Click here for more details

Please also try  Texas Coalition for Animal Protection and the Humane Society of North Texas, both offer these services at low cost as well as other organizations listed on our resources page. 

 

THERE ARE SEVERAL FERAL CATS AROUND MY HOME. CAN YOU HELP?
Parker County Animal Shelter and Weatherford Whiskers have barn cat programs. Also, you can contact Feral Friends.

 

I CAN’T AFFORD FOOD FOR MY PET. CAN YOU HELP?

Weatherford Whiskers offers a pet food pantry and the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter also helps pet owners in need.  

 

MY PET NEEDS MEDICAL CARE. CAN YOU HELP?

I FOUND A STRAY DOG/CAT. CAN YOU HELP?
If you find a stray animal, we suggest you try to locate the owner by putting up signs, notify the local shelter and local vets in your area, and take it to a vet or PetSmart to scan for a microchip. You can also post on our FB Lost and Found Page and Nextdoor.com. We do not have a facility and cannot take in stray animals.

WHERE CAN I MEET YOUR AVAILABLE ADOPTABLE PETS?

Parker Paws has closed our foster program to focus our efforts on our Spay Neuter Incentive Program, SNIP, to help prevent unwanted litters and reduce our communities’ pet overpopulation problem.
